After spending one year in Harvey Nichols I was lucky enough to be approached by the management of Cerruti 1881 Womenswear in the UK, and I left Harvey Nichols to join the Cerruti 1881 team in Harrods . In Harrods is where I have learnt the importance of the "retail regime". The famous Harrods store approval , the several Customer Service trainings, they all taught me how to present myself impeccably and how to deal with the most demanding customers. From the very regular local customers, to the most famous celebrities . If at any point you would read this blog to seek for some advise, I strongly recommend, to anyone who wants pursue a fashion career, to gain some fashion retail experience, even if for just 6 months. One day you might be lucky enough to meet the most special person in your career … "Your Ideal Customer" . You will only succeed when you will know exactly for whom you are designing, to whom your creations will appeal, and through which channels who will be able to communicate to that special person .
